Love some Merle Haggard, no doubt. Wish we could go to to see him at The Birchmere Music Hall in Alexandria. We’re jealous that you’ll be going and we can’t. Read a Rolling Stone interview with him when he went back to the boxcar that he lived in when he was a kid. He was a tough kid that turned into a tough man that wrote some tough music.

I don’t think I’ll make the Birchmere show but the Charlottesville one which is half the distance.
Did you watch the Documentary last night? At the end he went back to that boxcar and it was severely run down, he was about to cry. Great show….watch the rerun on saturday if you missed it.

The doc was great. Wonder why he called that place a boxcar? I wonder if it’s easy to miss when you visit Oildale? Speaking of outlaws, can we please please… PLEASE HEAR ABOUT THE PICNIC!
