Continuing where I left off last week with a wrap up of 2010. As a big fan of album art, this will be my favorite post in this series, which is what I like to call the best and worst album art of 2010. Now remember this is only about the album art itself distinct from the music within. We will start with some of my favorites:
Fucking formatting on this has gone all to fucking shit…dammit. Anyway those are some of my favorites. Here are just a few that I think are horrible for various reasons:

This one just looks like a promo shot for a magazine that was hastily used as the cover

Great choices. A lot of these I haven’t even heard yet. I am so behind with all my books/music/movies its not even funny. But what is funny is your liberal use of the F word, hehe!

I have indeed, I have also NOT bought albums because of the cover art. The first DBT album is a good example (that combined with the name I thought it was going to be a novelty album)

Dude, gotta disagree with you about Ray Wylie. I think that is great cover art. It gets at the spirit Ray Wylie himself and the music inside. I love it.

I got a lot of flack last year too for declaring Neko Case – Middle Cyclone the worst cover
